The Things I Do!!

Christmas is almost here - well it will be Boxing Day by the time I publish this so Yaaaaayyy in advance.  Evreything I've been doing lately has been inspired by Christmas so it will be nice to be able to sit back and relax when it's over with.  No numbering on the goals this week because I HAVE to finish loads of them.

Monday
*Wrapped SOME of the presents after a two hour marathon of getting the kids to bed - combination of late afternoon sleep, heat, sickness (just colds) and general naughtiness from the two year old!!
*Baked the sugar cookies from "Smashed Peas and Carrots" and...

Tuesday
*...made these, again as suggested from the Smashed Peas and Carrots Blog,  for Zoe's Kindy Christmas Party.  They all went so they must have tasted good.

*Christmas Play-dough for Zoe and Logans Christmas Stockings - with a glitter surprise in the centre.

*Finally finished the ribbon covers for the pots for the Kindy teachers.  Will engage Zoe in filling them with potting mix and flowers tomorrow.

Wednesday
*Ribbon pots WITH flowers planted - all ready for delivery to specific Kindy teachers tomorrow.

*Gingerbread Christmas Tree Centrepiece, surrounded by (clockwise from left) individual Coffee Ginger Toffee, 'Candy Coated Chocolate' Cookies, Tropical Hedgehog Slice, White Chocolate Rocky Road

Thursday
* One refurbished doll stroller.

Friday
* One knitted kids laptop bag (started back in March).

* One Christmas Tree angel.

Saturday
* Two Gingerbread Christmas tree platters with white chocolate rocky road, tropical hedgehog slice, candy coated chocolate cookies, raspberry macaroons, pistachio macaroons.

Sunday

Feeding the soul...
I did work on a couple of things today but mostly I slept.  I don't think it went down very well with Himself who thinks daytime sleeping is his domain but TBH I needed it.  I now feel fully over my summer cold which wasn't pleasant and I'm ready to face the new year with a vengeance of tidying and finishing of projects.  I did cop it a bit when Himself decided to throw himself into cleaning the kitchen.  He swears he wasn't grumpy about it but it seemed obvious to me with botht he noise he was making crashing about AND his reply AFTER denying he was grumpy.  Good for me I only felt a little guilty as it's usually me who cleans up the mess after he's been in the kitchen only to return half an hour later to find it in a similar state to what it was before!!!
