.... made a stuff up that's made you feel sick?
It happens to me frequently. A lovely lady purchased a pattern from my Felt store back at the beginning of November. She emailed me three times over the next two months trying to get me to send the pattern to her and then reported me to admin who sent me an email also.
The problem.....I had the wrong email linked to my Outlook account. We originally joined Broadband with iHug which was then taken over by Vodafone - all new email addresses are automatically @vodafone.co.nz - but I must have linked @ihug.co.nz instead. No, not surprised I wasn't getting any emails about sales - I've sold ONE pattern in total and that was months ago so wasn't really expecting anything. I'm hoping my massive apologies to both the purchaser (who was quite patient in her emails much to my admiration - I've had similar things happen to me with Trade Me purchases) and admin will put it right - along with the complete offer of a refund (no I didn't see the money come through - I'm sure it has but I don't often check the account statements and $4 doesn't make much difference to the balance so I wouldn't have noticed) AND the pattern free if she still wants it.
This entry is to pour out my guts in the hope that I stop feeling so guilty about it. One thing I keep thinking is that at least I found this out on the last day of the year and not the first of next year - wouldn't make a good start to what is GOING to be a GOOD YEAR for us.
Edited to add that it all came out in the wash - whew!
