I'm glad I stuck to weekly rather than daily goals because while I'm doing a lot towards achieving those goals I'm guessing that I will be crossing most of them off at the end of the week rather than each day.
My Ten Minutes of Peace is one I need to do each day though and today I got a bit more than ten minutes. Firstly I cuddled up with Logan to get him off to sleep at naptime - I ended up falling asleep myself. Secondly I took time out to sit and contemplate things that are happening at the moment but I kept stressing out so gave up and pulled out some weeds (Item 13 on the weekly goals list is to get the garden up to scratch) and I realised that as long as I wasn't stressing and was relaxing that My Ten Minutes of Peace could be anything I wanted it to be - including weeding the garden/achieving goals - bonus that it's helping towards achieving that particular goal too!!
I've finally sat down and starting catching up on some of my fave blogs! (no I haven't even been doing that for about 3 weeks!)
ReplyDeleteI swear by lists, doesn't matter how you want to do them, daily, weekly etc, I swear by them! I often find they are the only way to keep my head clear, lay everything out and most importantly, stop stressing and procrastinating!
Sounds like you are doing pretty good!
xx
Yes lists are great - I often find them around the house from years ago - usually with only two or three items crossed off and usually with several of the same items on different lists. And again usually I still haven't completed half of those items LOL - good to have you back Gen xx
