Have made one "extra" purchase but it was a necessity - our wee goldfish spend most of their time at the top of their bowl gulping air - tells me we need a bubble pump. I was good though, have put the smallest, cheapest one on order rather than buying the next size up and in the meantime got them an oxyshell which appears to be working. Couldn't get over the prices though - my $10 voucher for joining the pet club won't go far - I thought I'd be paying around $10 on top of the voucher but will need to buy tubing, a valve AND a bubbler - put the cheapest bubble ornament back in exchange for a small starfish airstone at half the price but we're still looking at another $20.
I've queued dozens of jewllery projects on Ravelry - should give me something to do from stash. My butterfly embellishment on Zoe's Spring Butterfly for school isn't looking too hot at all LOL - so much for thinking it would be easy!
If you're a member of Ravelry you can see details here. It's made entirely from stash items and was rather fun. It was suppposed to be a bracelit but I've made it one bead too long, however when I tied it around my neck it looked pretty good as both a choker and even looser as a longer necklace - even with the ribbon showing. |
