Miss Stink died this morning. We were much agrieved. Zoe laid her to rest in a patch of grass and cried all the way to Kindy. We didn't know Miss Stink that long (Zoe rescued her from MM our cat last night probably prolonging her life - or at least her current tail - by 12 or so hours) but during the time we had the pleasure of her company I'm sure she felt loved - hey she had a tv, bed, bath, wardrobe and car to play with - all in a little basket.
Zoe's decided that from now on she'll stick with snails, skinks just don't cope with all the handling a preschooler has to give her pets!!
Poor wee pet - she was beside herself. I'm a bit worried because she's showing signs of becoming the drama queen I went to pains in my late twenties to eliminate from my own personality. Didn't want her to go down that road.
