I spent Friday and Saturday working on the content of my downstairs WIP box (as opposed to the half dozen I have waiting upstairs!!) and look what crossed the finish line...
I really would like to get this girl some dancing and drama lessons - am going to have to save up for next year I think - I told her to dance for the photo - didn't take much encouragement. Anyway this is another skirt that was sitting waiting to be finished for a friends daughter who will now have outgrown it - it fits Zoe really well and she loves it.
She also loves this headband which she put on as soon as I'd finished it and before I could take photos - took them this morning so it's a bit grubby. I made another to go in a swap I'm doing so will put that with those photos. And please excuse the unbrushed hair!!
We had a bit of fun yesterday making pikelets (nothing left in the morning/afternoon tea jars). The twins from next door helped out and they all took turns adding in and mixing the ingredients. I of course got the job of cooking them and burning myself in the process - that makes an iron burn, a cookie tray burn and a toasted sandwich maker burn (used the toastie machine instead of the frying pan - quite successful other than the burny bit - wouldn't recommend it to kids cooking - the upper lid is the bit that bites!!!)
Yes that's the unbrushed hair one again *rolls eyes* The twins are a great help in entertaining my kids. They allowed me heaps of time to finish of or get a good way into many projects which hopefully I'll finish off today. I fixed about ten things including some for a good friend who wants to pay me for my time. I sewed and stuffed a couple of cushions for Logans room that just need hand sewing shut. I got a good way into a few things for the swap I'm doing and we got the house relatively tidy for once!!!
