Let's Play A Game...

...The game is called "Clean Up".  It's about taking the trash pile that has become our home and pulling it into shape one room at a time whilst keeping each tidied room in the same condition - then it's about moving the cleaning process outside and sorting that out as well.

I've chosen room number one and it's....da, da, da, da, da, da, daaaaaa - Logans Room

Both kids have been sleeping in here (as do I sometimes when Logan creeps into our room and manages to take over my side of the bed).  Zoe still has her own room so it's only her sleeping things that stay down here - encouragement for her to go upstairs when she's ready.

So...

• Strip Beds, wash sheets and blankets, air pillows, mattresses and duvets.
• Relocate out of place toys, books and "other" items.
• Open blinds and windows to air out the room.
• Vaccum, dust everywhere moving all the furniture
• Reorganise wardrobe (which we can't get into when the trundler is pulled out anyway so have put stuff we don't really use often in there).  Get Zoe to match the socks in the sock and nappy basket on top of the wardrobe.
• Bring in the mattresses and pillows.
• New linen on the beds, rearrange cushions and toys.
• Cover the "car" banana box under the bed.  Great repurpose for an old plastic sheet that's been used first as a carpet protector under the kids dinner table and then as an actual car mat (don't know if you can see it's printed with roads).  Absolutely perfect to cover the box to restore all of Logans cars, trucks and tractors.

Ok, so combined with other things this is actually the only room that got done today.  Will try to boost the progress tonight and tomorrow!!!

Craft wise there's still a lot I want to do with this room but at the moment it's all about getting rid of the clutter and keeping things tidy.
