About a month ago I brutally ransacked my fabric stash and forced myself to make a decision to part with a few things. Most of it isn't beautiful stuff but it's fabric I had "plans for" or thought I "could use". I have to face reality so, although it's taken me a month I now have 43 pieces of fabric listed on TNN's Trading Post. Already I've sold 10 pieces (actually I think I've taken back 4 pieces for something so 39 pieces in total - that's why I had to get them listed today - or they'd all end up back upstairs!!!).
I had plans for the funds - the ability to walk into a fabric shop and say "I want to make something for Zoe or Logan. Here's a pattern, here's the fabric, I'm buying it." Then go home and make it! What's really going to happen is that we'll use the money for food or bills LOL But I'm not upset surprisingly. Secondary to the income is the ability to get on top of the mess. Something I should be doing right now instead of typing away here. But just as a reminder of some of the things I once owned...
