A Little Bit of Happiness

An online friend has been down in the dumps a bit lately and a little while ago she asked me if I wanted to do some knitting for her and her kids.  I've not been in the best place myself so I had to decline but felt terrible about it (as I do whenever I say no to anyone!).  But then after knitting myself one of a pair of these and really loving the process and how quickly they knit up (after I got them started - I have trouble joining in the round) I decided I would make her a pair to cheer her up.  I stalked her posts on the forum she posts to and found a skein of yarn she was interested in buying from someone - so I copied it - it's in a previous post.  And from that colourway I knitted these.
